Making New Memories
At Second Snuggles, we believe that teddy bears hold a kind of quiet magic. They’re companions, comforters, secret-keepers, and best friends. But sometimes, even the most beloved bears get forgotten or left behind. That’s where we step in.
We’re a small, love-filled teddy rescue on a big-hearted mission: to give once-loved bears a second chance at happiness. Each bear we take in is welcomed into our Rescue Centre, then whisked away to the Snuggle Spa for a well-deserved pamper. After a gentle clean and loving repairs, we restore their charm while preserving every bit of their unique character.
When they’re ready, they relax in our Snuggle Lounge while waiting to be matched with a new home, complete with a personalised adoption certificate and a printed backstory to continue their journey. No two bears are the same, and every adoption is a chance to begin a brand new chapter.
Meet the Maker; Louise, Founder of Second Snuggles
Hi, I’m Louise—the hands and heart behind Second Snuggles. My love for teddy bears began at age four when I was given my most treasured companion: Cuddles. He wasn’t just a toy, he was a constant presence. He came everywhere with me (passport and all!), slept beside me every night, and even sat in the back seat of the car during my driving test for luck.
Cuddles appears in nearly every photo from my childhood, and everyone who knew me, knew Cuddles. He smelt of “bed,” and to this day—over 45 years later—he still lives on my bed and holds a permanent place in my heart. That bond, that feeling, never faded.
I’ve always been a passionate crafter and sewer, and Second Snuggles is the perfect blend of my creativity and lifelong love for teddy bears. This isn’t just a business—it’s a joy, a calling, and a way to share the comfort and magic of teddy bears with others.
